• The early timber getters logged beech, cedar, bunya pine and flooded gum.
• Flora Reserve is the highest protected status for forest areas in the flooded gum, tallowwood, ironbark and white mahogany.
• A flooded gum ( " Eucalyptus rudis " ), said to be over 400 years old, towers over the church.
